FMConsulting have been assisting the A Consulate in Istanbul with Trade Mission organization and match making for delegate companies for many years. Initially appointed in 2008 to support their largest ever trade delegation, FMConsulting took responsibility for:
Working closely with the A Consular Commercial Team, FMConsulting researchers coordinated meetings and activities with the Consulate’s preferred logistics providers. In 2009, the A Trade Mission was smaller, with only 23 companies requiring matchmaking over a 2 day period. With fewer activities and less involvement from the Consulate, we were challenged to arrange an average of 8 meetings per delegate company over a two day period, within 8 weeks– which included Ramadan. Every delegate company left Istanbul extremely happy with the meetings that had been arranged; many having signed contracts, memorandum of intentions or arranged further meetings with prospective partners/customers.
