  • Area Sales Manager

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Our German client LANGGUTH GmbH is a leading manufacturer of labelling technology solutions, with all products being made in Germany. LANGGUTH produces tailor-made labelling machines for various segments of the manufacturing industry. Its superior technology solutions meet the customers' highest requirements and have secured LANGGUTH an outstanding market position for more than 80 years.

    We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who will work as the sole sales person based in Turkey and report directly to the HQ in Germany.

    • University degree, preferably in Engineering
    • Very good command of written and spoken English, German is a plus
    • Min. 3 years of sales experience, preferably in packaging and labelling technology
    • Knowledge of the target segments in the manufacturing industry, such as chemicals, home care products, and food manufacture
    • Strong technical understanding of special purpose machinery
    • Dynamic and sales driven personality with customer oriented approach
    • Organizing ability, willingness to travel and commitment to develop new customers
    • Independent negotiation skills, self-confident and resilient
    • Self-motivated and eager to succeed with hands-on mentality
    • Full computer literacy and conversant with MS Office software
    • No military obligation for male candidates & B-class valid driving license

     

    JOB DESCRIPTION

     

    • Maintain and develop the customer base and market position in Turkey
    • Support the existing industrial clients with regular personal visits
    • Acquire new customers and develop relations with potential industrial clients by frequent visits
    • Participate in industry-specific fairs
    • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and the developments in the market
    • Turnover responsibility for the Turkish market

  • Sales Support & Office Manager

    Qualifications

    Our international client is active in the medical devices industry. We are looking for a Sales Support & Office Manager for our client’s newly established local subsidiary office in Ataşehir.

    • University degree
    • Experience in supporting commercial organisations, congresses & meetings is a must
    • Fluency in English
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Organizing ability to plan and manage multiple projects, problem solving skills and eager to succeed with hands-on mentality
    • Strong quality orientation, accuracy, and attention to detail
    • Secretarial and administration skills
    • Full computer literacy and conversant with MS Office software
    • No military obligation for male candidates

    Job Description

    • Overall provision of professional timely administrative support to the commercial team and in conjunction with the HQ to provide local support to organisation of regional, national and local promotional meetings in Turkey and Middle East

    • Manage commercial congresses logistics in Turkey and Middle East, including obtaining exhibit space for smaller congresses, ordering and shipping materials to congresses, preparing briefing packages, coordinating registrations

    • Support generation of requested CRM reports plus related sales data

    • Full organisation of trainings in Turkey; i.e. hotel, flights, catering, taxis and all on site logistics

    • Coordinate with the HQ to prepare and obtain appropriate approvals for commercial contracts; track agency invoices against budgets; prepare purchase orders and work orders; coordinate with agencies to resolve any discrepancies between commitments and invoices

    • Manage all the communication with third parties (couriers, rental cars, office cleaning etc.) and follow up all invoices for office services (internet, phone, electricity, water etc.)

    • Support the team for travel & visa arrangements

    • Ensure that the day to day running of the Istanbul Office is effective and efficient and in line with company values

    • Meet and greet all visitors and visiting employees in a professional and timely manner, ensuring they are welcomed and taken to the appropriate meeting place

    • Manage the office switchboard, answering and transferring calls in an appropriate manner

    • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as required by the management
